Paul Westerberg - Seein’ Her
So there’s a song on a new album, which has made me think of this song everyday. The reason being very similar chord progressions, and rhythms display both the intensity of falling head over heels for someone and being a bitter mess, post-break-up. This would be the head over heels entry, which while not exactly the most romantic song of all time, from a gritty Paul Westerberg, sheltered dude point of view, who is maybe startlingly intense at times, it embodies being in love. Or at the very least “thinking you are”, and the song that I will post tomorrow, will show how a psychopath such as this, would respond to the breakup with the girl he “loved everything about”.
