There’s a reason I don’t read youtube comments, this is that reason.

I herby endorse going to concerts with people who bring “real” cameras. My neck hurt the next day from rocking too much to The National on Saturday and i did not once reach for my stoopid iPhone. I knew my friend, Matt, was taking more than enough pictures. (1197 pictures actually which may be too many, but I think we may be able to make a sweet video from them) Bottom line is I think they’ve officially reached immortal status as a band, they seem incapable of breaking so large people get annoyed, yet they play rallies with the President, and still make music that while very “dude” and borderline “dad” centric, is just really amazing.

This is a photo from when they closed out with “Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks” completely acoustic, without any microphones or amplification, which is better than any episode of MTV Unplugged can say.
