The Ticketmaster free version of Watch the Throne does not list Kanye as an artist after itunes import. I imagine he’d be totally okay with that and not see it as a big deal at all. I can imagine him saying “No big deal, it’s just an id3 tag maaaaan.”

It’s taken a lot of listens but I think this verse is my favorite on the album. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually rewound a section of a song over and over to just hear it, but this one falls into that category. It has become my theme song for my obsessive compulsive need to be the best and hardest working. Kanye nails in this verse the faults of being that ruthless but also the truth that he can’t stop himself. Everyone else blowing up does not even phase him, he only wants one thing, and that’s the #1 belt. I’m comin’ after whoever, WHO HAS IT?
Gayngs - The Last Prom on Earth
Wonder if Kanye listened to the Gayngs album before giving Justin Vernon a call. Obviously the whole throw the auto-tuned indie guy into the biggest hip-hop arena was a stretch no matter what, but this song at least would’ve given Kanye a glimpse that it was a good idea. A road map if you will…
